Description
Octagonal. With flattened corners. Gilded latticework and corner bars ending in vases emerging from foliage. Below on the four fields of the box oval porcelain medallions with painted mythological depictions; At the flattened corners small painted porcelain busts of ancient deities. With four gilded bird claws, each holding a ball, as feet. On the underside a clock (marked A. R.). In the cage two artificial birds movable by the clockwork.

Ralph von Klemperer Collection, Dresden - 1928 -; whereabouts unknown; seizure due to Nazi persecution cannot be ruled out.
