Description
Fuchs text for plate 29: „Aufrechtstehender Mann mit vorgestrecktem rechtem Arm. In der rechten Hand trug er wohl ursprünglich einen Stab. Die mit Ohrenklappen versehene Kapuze reicht bis zu den Ellenbogen herab. Sonst in allem Darstellung sehr ähnlich der Abbildung auf Tafel 28. Rötlichweißer Tonscherben. Gelblichweiß glasiert. Höhe 47,5 cm.“

Eduard Fuchs Collection acquired between 1912-1922 and in his possession there until 1933; 25.10.1933 confiscated by the Gestapo; forced sale (payment of Reichsfluchtsteuer) by his daughter Gertraud Fuchs: Auktionshaus Rudolph Lepke Berlin, Catalogue 2115, p. 8 - on 15.10 and 16.10.1937 this sculpture was auctioned under No. 48: "TONFIGUR: Stehende Frau mit Kopftuch; weißlichgelb glasiert. Höhe 48 cm. Tang“. The object (estimated price: 50,- RM) found no buyer; whereabouts unknown
