Description
A fox, about to eat a dead chicken-like bird. With his forelegs he stands on one wing outstretched and bites his breasts. Behind them bushes and thick spruce trunks.
Provenance
The paintings of the Bückeburg Gallery were lost during the occupation from 1945 to 1951 (see also: Verlorene Werke der Malerei, 1965, pages 78-79.)
