Hamacher were confiscated by the Gestapo on 22 July 1942 on the basis of § 3 of the 11th regulation to the RBG of 25 November 1941 and auctioned off by the Finanzamt Außenbezirk, Verwertungsstelle, Frankfurt am Main on 17/18 September 1942. The auction was conducted by the bailiff Heinrich Naumann, Frankfurt/M., Glauburgstraße 37, whereabouts unknown
