Description
The yard is surrounded by walls to the left and back. On the left a stall opening. In front of her is a railing frame, on which chickens sit, others pieces on the floor. On the latter a pot, a basket and a drink-drink. Sun in front right on the yellow-gray ground. Blackish shadows. Colorfully used the chickens. Signed lower left: Ch. Jacque. Acquired 1907 in Paris.
