Description
Vor Felsen liegt in der Mitte eine Frau mit entblößter Brust, dabei stehen ein Mann mit Fischernetz und ein Hund. Links ein aufwärts führender Weg, den ein Mann herabgeht. Oben am Fels ist eine Hütte angebaut. Im Hintergrund unten rechts Fluss und Gebäude (Inventarbeschreibung).
Provenance
1799 from the Zweibrücken Gallery; work recovered outside Munich at the beginning of the war, brought back to Munich at the end of the war under the supervision of the US Army, registered at the Central Collecting Point on Arcisstraße in Munich (so-called ‘Munich number’) - last evidence of the object, later no longer traceable.
