Description
Of cylindrical form, slightly tapering towards the top, foot and lid bead in relief with ribbon work. On the walk under arcade arches four figure reliefs: Annunciation of Mary, Adoration of the Shepherds, Adoration of the Magi, Circumcision in the Temple. In the lid a medallion with the Christ child on a globe. The curved handle is made of cartilage, the thumb rest is a mermaid. Augsburg assayer's and master's mark A.B.
