Description
In front of the two intercolumns of three red Corinthian columns standing on high black pedestals, Catherine on the left, Mary Magdalene on the right, slightly turned towards each other, looking straight ahead. Catherine wears a lime green skirt, a long dark green bodice embroidered with gold ornaments and a small fur collar, red damask sleeves, on her brown parted hair a red bonnet decorated with black and gold. The right holds large sword, the left an open book, on the red tiled floor the wheel. Magdalena's clothing: Yellow-green skirt of shiny silk, long pleated red bodice, blue sleeves puffed and slit 3 times, long narrow fur around the neck, on the brown, slightly curly hair yellowish bonnet. In her right hand she holds an ointment vessel made of faience, her left hand grasps a transparent veil. View of dark green hilly landscape with white house and trees, in the distance rugged mountains and watercourses, blue, slightly cloudy, on the horizon yellow-white sky.
