from the collection of M. Cuvelier; Collection Klara Steiner, Vienna until 1938 - due to the fate of the aggrieved parties, the withdrawal of the painting due to Nazi persecution cannot be excluded; the exact circumstances of the loss are unclear; whereabouts unknown
