Description
On a stone tabletop, from which a colourful carpet hangs down on the right, stands a silver plate with a nautilus cup in a rich gold setting. To the right of its base is a Chinese porcelain bowl with three olives. Behind it is a half-filled wine glass. On the left is an orange and a clock with a blue strap. Dark background. Gold frame. Former imperial property. Probably came to Berlin from the Orange family in the 17th century. Exhibition ‘Het Stilleven’. Amsterdam 1933. Cat. no. 145
