The archives were handed over to a Lieutenant Poletschuk on 6 May 1947 in return for a receipt. Efforts to return them after 1959 were unsuccessful. Historians stated that the material with the old signatures is stored in the Central Party Archive in Moscow. Responsible: Soviet Military Administration of Saxony.
