Silver pocket watch in a tortoise-shell watch case studded with silver (piqué work); signed on the case: "Quaré London".
Provenance
Supposedly owned by duke Ernest I of Saxe-Gotha; according to the 1858 inventory, it then came into the possession of duke Ernest I of Saxe-Coburg-Gotha, via the estate of duke August of Saxe-Gotha-Altenburg.
