Description
Allegorical depiction of the Asian continent: slender figure, turned right, wearing a long belted caftan with a large floral pattern and a long, fur-trimmed pink cloak, hanging straight from his shoulders, as well as red shoes and a red turban with a gilt crescent moon.
Provenance
Purchased on March 28th 1928 from art dealer H. Helbing, Munich, Liebigstr. 21, for the sum of 425 marks, together with Z.V. 2770.
