From the collection of duke Ernest II of Saxe-Gotha-Altenburg (cf. 1826 inventory). [...]. Mentioned in letter dated January 30, 1937 (file 3475); still present in the museum in 1943 (catalog 1943, sheet 24); since then whereabouts unknown.
