Provenance

The graphic was transferred to the art collections as a gift from the Welfare Office in 1942 and originally came from Amalie Keller. The transfer from the Augsburg Municipal Welfare Office and the designation "gift" must be scrutinised. The "4 Judenaktionen" in Augsburg took place between 1939 and 1942. The drawing may have been unlawfully confiscated in the course of this.
