Description
The guard sits in lansquenet costume, in helmet, chain mail, breastplate, red doublet and yellow trousers, his head resting in his left hand with his eyes closed, clutching an iron mace lying on the ground with his armoured right hand; an armoured gauntlet lies on the ground on the right. Landscape with lake and houses in the background. Deep blue sky. (according to inv.)
