Canvas, black drawing material: "Picasso", to the right of it a round German customs stamp: "Zollamt ( Federal Eagle recognisable)", next to it further up a round stamp: "Zoll / II-? / Kreuz ( as sign)", on the centre of the stretcher a partially detached sticker: “S (sign) F / 46 x 38”, on the centre left a partially pasted over sticker: “B.A. 0073” (cf. Staatsgalerie / Stuttgart / Inv. Nr. / L. 290”, at the bottom centre right two labels BStGS: ’Inv.- No. 14241’ and “L. 1199”, on the frame top right a stamp: “München / Werner / Murrer / Rahmen”.
