Description
Four stamps on the side of the neck: "D&F" = Deakin & Francis Ltd (mould from 1884), anchor (hallmark) + walking lion (sterling fineness) + "b" (year letter) = Birmingham 1901. Further stamp to the right: "E∙S∙B" = E S Barnsley & Co (mould from 1894) Two stamps on the rim of the cap: pacing lion (sterling fineness) + "c" (year letter).
Baluster-shaped with round foot and stepped neck. Curved wave pattern on the lower belly. High, narrow bonnet with spherical lid knob and openwork stripe pattern.
