Label outside on the spine: "Z-91"; label inside: "Z-91" with stamp above, below in pencil: 205/12; stamp on the title page: "91", further blackened stamps "VOLKS-LESEHALLE des Deutsch-mähr. Volksbildungsverein Brünn" with a curved "M" underneath, then the stamp fades, underneath a round stamp with coat of arms, circulating "Brünn"; with ink on the title page: "288 Z".
Provenance
Purchase 1984 from Galerie Gerda Bassenge, art and book auctions in Berlin. Before that in Brno, Czech Republic (stamp German-Moravian National Education Association Brno, offered for loan). Further labels next to the "Z-91" have been removed from the book, only remains of the uncleanly torn out papers can be seen. Whereabouts during the NS period unclear.
