Briefwechsel mit seinen Freunden
First edition. 584 pages. Explained by instructions and notes by Dr. Ernst Müller. With many illustrations of the persons and facsimile of the handwritten letters of Justinus Kerner.
Stamp of the city of Tübingen. 2 stamps from Ludwisburg (public library and the district and teachers' association)
Tübingen Municipal Collection. Acquired in 1987 from Antiquariat Melchior, Schloss Riet, 7143 Vaihingen (Enz) under no.164. 2 stamps refer to Ludwisburg, where it was inventoried in the municipal library and the district and teachers' society. An ex libris refers to Richardi M. Meyer as the previous owner. His wife Estella, née Goldschmidt, was born in Berlin on April 1, 1870. She probably became a victim of Nazi euthanasia in 1942. Date and place of death are unknown. In the Nazi era, a forced sale of the villa took place at an unreasonably low purchase price as building land for the New Reich Chancellery; an illegal acquisition cannot be ruled out. Meyer had three sons. His son Reinhold Meyer (1898-1965) worked as an antiquarian bookseller. The ex-libris circulate with and without books in other libraries (Berlin, Freiburg).
