Tree group at the water

The painting ist signed and dated „C.Strathmann, 1923“

Back: cardboard doubled on plywood plate, on the back in the middle in pencil "M.No 31960", bottom left Label BStGS: "Inv. Nr. 12932", on the frame in the upper left an octagonal label with several black borders on it handwritten: "Abendstimmung N. 4" with ballpoint pen several times crossed out and with white chalk crossed on. Next to it is the same label that covers another one. Since the top label is greasy, the overlay label appears.This lower label is square and bears a round stamp in the middle of which a Bavarian coat of arms with a crown sits and around which is written circulating: "GERICHTSVOLLZIEHER ... MÜNCHEN". The top octagonal label does not have a font anymore, but you can still see traces of the cross-out.
