Description
On the canvas handwritten in the upper half: „Ich bestätige, dass dieses / Bild ein Original von der / Hand meines Vaters, / Ernst Müller, 1844-1914, / ist. / München, den 17.8.1918 / H. Müller“, further down in black "1157", on the wedge frame on the upper left also in black again: "1157", beside it a difficult to read stamp, the second line " München", In the upper line there is still a drawing-pin with a paper-rest, beside it a rectangular sticker on it handwritten with black ink in Sütterlin: "aus jüdischem Besitz / 5443“ with dark fat chalk on the lower edge of this shield "UXR22/4°" (location Meiserstraße) on the right-hand side of the wedge frame "PR" (Photo Roth), on the left, label BStGS: "Inv.-Nr. 10859", including handwritten "INV.No 10859 / Müller, Ernst / Studie einer Bauernstube" below: "Galerie Heinemann, München. / 13852 "(number stamped), on the frame upper left in light blue: "UXR 22/4°", upper right in blue: "39077", (Munich number) To the right still writings: above unreadable, in the middle two lines, below "MO", left remains of a narrow long label on it only a curved direction visible.
