Description

On the left the open door of the village church. Before that young people who are waiting for the pastor. All with bonnets. To the left on a fence leaning a boy with cap. In the right background the Pastor oncoming. Left among the group Staffage under trees.

Provenance

cording to the results of the 2014 re-conducted provenance research the auction of the painting by the Galerie Hans W. Lange Berlin in 1942 is not a Nazi-related assets loss. Because of the gap in the provenance history earlier due to persecution asset loss is not completely ruled out.
