The silver goblet comes from the property of Morton Bernath, who had been the owner of the art shop "Antiquitätengeschäft im Prinzenbau" since 1928. On 1.4. 1933 his shop was boycotted, the next day the lease was cancelled by the State Pension Office. Bernath had to close his shop in April 1933 and had to sell his warehouse below value. The Landesmuseum Württemberg acquired the silver cup from Morton Bernath in March 1934.
