Description
Chest of the type of a so-called "wedding chest": checkered brass lock on the front, with three brass holes arranged in a triangle, followed by a heart-shaped brass decoration at the bottom. The two lower keyholes are framed by oval decorative plates in which the initials "IC" and "NA" are engraved. The chest stands on round feet; the front is decorated with a decorative strip at the bottom. The side walls are slightly curved outwards, the lid is flat. The brass hinges extend on the inside to form buckle-shaped decorative fittings. The veneer on the front forms a rectangle. Curved wooden decorative bands frame a surface that is darker in colour.
